Nana is a writer and editor living in Brooklyn, NY. A graduate of Oberlin College (B.A., 2002) and California College of the Arts (MFA, 2007), Nana's prose and nonfiction work has been published in various literary journals. From 2016-2020 she was the "Retail" columnist for the East Bay Monthly, and occasional feature writer for Oakland and Alameda Magazines. She has also written for Visit Oakland, and Make Change. An early employee of Callisto Media, Nana was instrumental in building out their self-help and psychology book publishing area. She now serves as Vice President and Publisher of the Balance imprint at Grand Central Publishing, within the Hachette Book Group.
